Tonight, I started working on installing and connecting the left wing aileron push rods to the bell crank assembly. I learned, from installing the push rods on the right wing, that it helps a lot if you remove the paint on the threads of the push rod ends with a wire brush before attaching the rod ends. I thought that I had some threads that were damaged on one end of a rod but, after I removed the paint, I found that the threads were just fine. I spent some extra time just try to locate the correct hardware for this installation. I wish I was one of those supper organized people like my wife. Well, I guess I am not. I was almost finished installing both push rods, but the bushing on the small aileron connecting rod was not fitting correctly, so I am going to stop for tonight and try again tomorrow.
