Brief Description:  Bolt elevators together

The fuselage has only one access panel to accomplish the bolt-up, but it was all I needed. I wanted to see the locknut so I fingered the bolt into the opposite horn hole from behind. Its much easier to do this work if you unattach the bearing from the control tube at the rear, and do not attach the control tube at its forward connection yet. You can also move the other elevator horn rearward out of the way for a minute. Put the spacer, bearing, and other spacer onto the bolt. Bring the other horn into position and push the bolt through. There's enough room to hold the bolt head with a 3/8 open wrench while you can put washer and nut onto the bolt and tighten it in place with a socket. Torqued it 30 inch lbs then held the bearing while I threaded the control tube onto it from above. Next up adjust linkages to get desired elevator travel and neutral stick position.
