Most of the day was spent laying out the instrument panel and creating schematics and a bill of materials. The money is starting to add up but I figure that this will be the last airplane I own unless I move to a light sport later in life. I really didn't intend for 3 GPS systems in theplane but in order to be able to fly IFR I needed a certified GPS and I like the Garmin. The 430 fits but not the 530 so 430 it is.
I installed the heat shield rods early on so that is done.
