How do you lift a fuselage by yourself os that you can install the main gear legs? By using a little ingenuity and a cargo strap. I build the stands first and then reinforced the garage door tarcks so that they would not bend. I removed the canopy and took out everything that was bolted down. Once the fuselage was supported by the strap, it was easy to pick up the tail and put it on the rear stand. Then I worked the fuselage up high enough to slid in the front stand. I left the strap in place for safety. Drilling for the bolt was easy and I polished up the gear leg and tube so that it slipped easily into place.
