Brief Description: Work on canopy bow and brake lines
I finished the new canopy bow brackets and then started on doing the brake lines. I opted for dual brakes just in case the grandchildren want to learn to fly someday. The copilot's brakes use poly tubing and the pilot's side uses braided flexible hoses. The rest of the brake line is 1/4" al tubing with flare fittings. The tubing bends easily by hand. So far I haven't needed the tubing bender. I'm still waiting on the paint from Estes! Thank goodness I didn't leave the plane there for them to redo. I may have to repaint the whole interior just to get the color to match.
