I took the canopy bracket apart and prepared for painting using Pre-Kote. This is the first parts to be painted with Akzo epoxy primer. I picked up a small primer sprayer from Harbor Freight for $20. It uses a paint container the size of a 35 mm film holder. The weather was great for painting. I used 35 psi and the results are acceptable. The primer seems to flow out for 5 to 6 minutes so it looks better as time passes.I let the primer dry for 5 hours and then began riveting the parts together.
