I always save the items that require great thinking for Terry. We installed the main landing gear brackets today. Terry made a template out of cardboard and we transferred the hole layout to the floor of the fuselage. We used a hole saw to rough cut, then a nibbler and finally a grinding wheel to form fit the gear bracket. It's amazing how well the parts are from Van's. Very little futzing required except when putting the nuts on the lower bolts. I am headed to Sears for a torque wrench. Only item left to complete this assembly task is torque the bolts.
