I decided to take a shot at fixing the rudder faring. After cutting the upper section, it now aligns with the leading edge of the elevator but does not sit flush. I started clecoing from the rear where it does fit. I then cut a section out of the faring so that the front will rest on the leading edge. Now all I have to do is repair the missing sections of fiberglas:(
I use electrical tape to cover the bare metal and start layering the fiberglas cloth on the outside. It will take me several tries and maybe some filler to get this faring looking right.
