Work on wiring, install antenna coax clamps, tie up loose wiring, rivet key lock bracket, taper canopy locking pins, clean up garage decribes the tasks. What a pain climbing into the tail section to lace wires and install adel clamps. After the wiring, it was time for a change! I decided to install the cabinet lock that came with the ignition switch. I had seen where one person slotted the cabin latch. Since mine is installed, no way to make it look good so time to punt. I found that it would work just fine if installed just aft of the handle.
I used .063 al to make a reinforcement doubler inside the fuselage. I filed the hole sides so that the lock will not rotate. I then installed the nuts and bolts.
