Brief Description: Rudder- Priming and riveting the stiffiners
Finished dimpling the stiffiners.
Filed out the cracks in a couple of rudder stiffiners.
Primed and riveted stiffiners . Started using a Rustoleum primer product rather than the Marhyde self etching primer. It's less expensive and easier on fumes and vapors, but I still like the Marhyde for durability.
Started back riveting the stiffiners to right rudder skin. Gotta get a roll of rivet tape. I don't like using the rivet tape dots supplied with my kit. Also the pin keeps slipping out of my back rivet attachment on my rivet gun. Slowing me down.
Started assembling and clecoing the forward spar and ribs for the rudder.
