Brief Description:  Start of the Build

Finally ready to start building, I had in previous weeks built a 4x4 foot workbench and the build offically started July 11, 2016 at 12:10PM. I followed the instructions from the Zenith Plans.

Step one: used a file on all the edges to remove any burs from the CNC machine
Step two: Trimmed the Spar Doubler to match the bottom of the spar, used snips to cut and metal file to deburr the rough edges.
Step3: label the rib stations on the spar.
Step 4: Clamped the doublers onto the spar using handi clamps and drilled through predrilled holes on the spar into the doublers. Clecoed into place.
Step 5: Clecoed the rudder horn and drilled out #30 then onto #20 holes.
Step 6: Deburred all holes drilled both sides, each part.
Step 7: Drilled each rib to final size into the spar and deburred.
