I've spent the past couple weeks rebuilding my elevator. I cut out the bad foam and fiberglass then cut out new tip templates. The new tips were glued to the old ones to ensure they were properly placed. The new foam was glued in and sanded on one side down to the templates. I glassed one side and it is now curing. I've also spent a lot of time filling and sanding the horizontal stabilizer with dry micro.
