I purchased this core from a local corvair enthusiast long before I began my project. It took little effort to dissassemble and I was able to get the heads off without any studs turning. I had the case and crankshaft looked at by Brother Roy at CC #20. He said it is a great canidate for conversion. I plan on building a 3 liter for my KR.
