Spent a few hours over the last couple of days getting stiffeners and skins ready for the elevators while I'm held up waiting for my new back riveting set.
Plans call for trimming some of the elevator stiffeners a bit to create new part numbers for the left elevator. When I went to cleco the stiffeners in place I realized I'd jazzed up my first parts.
I misunderstood the instructions and cut the new stiffeners too short.
Fortunatley, they are simple parts and I'm fabricating new ones from flat stock.
