Brief Description: Installed rudder pedals for final time
Put Locktite on bolts and swagged the cable for the adjustment knobs. The swage for the cable was too small for my smallest hole in the swage tool so I cut 1/16th inch thick aluminum sheet metal to fit on both sides of the swage tool and then swaged the adjustment cable. This worked well. I made a loop in the cable before swaging it by marking the cable and then using a pliers to fold the cable at the swage ferrule length beyond the mark. This left almost no cable extending from the ferrule after it was swaged and the knob still will not thread completely on to the nut. I will just have to tighten it without it threaded completely into the knob.
