Brief Description: Installed quick release screws to attach top cowl
Installed female portion of the quick release screws to the cowl mounting flange on the fuselage. I had to remove the firewall insulation were the top middle screw protruded through the flange so it would fit. Put Loctite on the threads and nut, then screwed them in by using a large screw driver inserted into the female portion of the fastener, holding the nut with a box wrench. I turned each fastener so that when the male screw portion was fully secured, the screw driver slot was parallel with the direction of airflow over the fuselage.
