Installed parachute in tube, coiled parachute cords on top of parachute, then marked top of parachute cords on side of parachute tube. Removed parachute. Ground one slot on each side of the tube so parachute retaining straps fit through slots. Installed retaining straps using retaining clips. Had to re-adjust strap length a couple of times by pushing strap all the way so retaining loop was touching tube, then re-adjust strap on clip and pull back into tube. Did this a few times until strap was tight across tube when retaining pin was inserted into strap loop.
