Brief Description: Installed power panel (again) and started engine
Ran engine Just above idle until oil temp reached 212. Had to plug both oil cooling baffles and most of the radiator to get the oil temp up on this cold day (25 degrees). With most of the cooling holes plugged, after running, engine seamed to be very warm even though the gauges did not indicate it was hot (were all below the yellow line). The muffler seamed to get very hot. Don’t want to do this again. In the future, I will leave the lower oil cooler cowl opening unplugged.
