Brief Description:  Soldered end of throttle and pitch cables

Ordered some stainless steel flux online and then used a ½ inch copper pipe end cap as a pot. Using a torch, I melted the same soldier I use for soldering copper pipes in the “pot”, filling it to the top. Applied stainless steel flux to the cable, then dipped cable in the “pot” while keeping it hot and melted with the torch. I held the cable in the solder for 30 seconds or so (you can see it start to flow onto the cable), then removed it from the pot. The result was a nicely tinned cable end that won’t unravel.
