Brief Description: Trial fit wings to fuselage again
Used two adjustable scaffolds to set the ends of the wings on as it slide the roots into the fuselage. I adjusted the ends of the wings up and down with blocks of wood to get the pin holes to line up perfectly. I then slid the left pin in and it easily slid in. Then tried the right ping. It did not slide in so easy so I had to tap in the right pin with a rubber mallet. Got the pin almost in (1/8" left) then though maybe I should see if it will come back out. Nope. Work for couple of hours twisting the pin and hitting it with a rubber mallet but it would not budge. Them move to a steel hammer with a block of wood. Still would not budge (I had my son wiggling the wing root but that didn't help) The left pin slide in and out like a glove but could not get the right pin to budge. Now the right ping was getting hard to twist because of all the twisting and hitting I was doing trying to get it out. I suspected it was starting to gall so I decided to quit for the night and sleep on it
