Brief Description: Attempted to install Static Air Vents
Drilled a small hole in Fuselage where Pipistrel recommends installing thinking that the static airport had to fit through the fuselage but learned that fuselage is too thick for port. I then realized that the port is glued (epoxied) to the inside of the fuselage and then a very small hole is drilled through the fuselage into the cavity of the static air port. I am glad I didnt't drill a 3/4inch hole to fit the port. I only drilled a 3mm hole which is probably probably too big. I will have to fill it with epoxy and re-drill a 1mm or smaller hole (I will contact Pipistrel and see what size hole they recommend)
