Brief Description: Installed elevator control rods
This was challenging because you have to fit washers in between both sides of the u-shaped fittings that go over the elevator control horn inside the tight fuselage area and the small access hole in rear of fuselage/vertical stab. Ground a small semi circle in a small zip tie end that fit in between the u-shaped control tube mount and the elevator control horn bearing to hold the washer in place while I inserted the bolt. Used Loctite 242 on bolts and red painted them. Test fit rudder and found the the lower right side of the rudder was scraping on the fuselage/Veritcal tail. Put washers behind the lower rudder mount to shift rudder to the left. This centered the lower rudder. Installed lower rear rudder mount and rudder cable hardware and centering springs. Used Loctite 242 and red paint on all these bolts
