Brief Description:  Drilled Out Main Landing Gear/Deburred Holes

Dropping and alignment of plumb lines. The aft plumb line is dropped from a machined hole in the most aft bulkhead. Two tape measures are lined up from the point of plumb and directed to the right and left main gear plumb lines. There are four plumb lines dropped from the front gear. They are dropped from the leading edge of the gear. Two on left, and two on the right. By making sure the four plumbs are in a straight line and the measurement from the aft to that common line (pink line on the floor) insures the gear is mounted square with the tail, and that the alignment of the gear is straight. No toe-in or toe-out misalignment. Instructions say to get within 1/4 inch. Mine plumbed out and measured within 1/32 inch. I am happy. Hopefully I will have great tire life.
