Creation of Delrin Isolators to replace the Vans soft plastic Type. Picture shows a comparison of the two Isolators. This Delrin isolator is bigger in diameter and harder plastic. The stand off distance is the same as the Van's type. The Van's type is made of three plastic washers. The one I created is made from 1" Delrin rod shaped with a router bit in a router table. The nipple is 1/8" raised and when secured in the rib will expand to prevent any pull through.
