Worked on the cooling ramp. formed the lower edge of the ramp to fit the radius of the side brackets and made a spacer out of .0625" material to add under the ramp to make the surface level between the two side rails and the firewall. this modification is not in the plans or consturction manual. It makes no since to just rivet the ramp to an uneven surface it will look and operate much smoother with this spacer. I'm also going to add stiffners to the aluminum ramp on both sides to make the ramp firmer. I plan on installing plate nuts to the underside of the ramp so I can install a Stainless steel heat sheild to the ramp from the firwall back beyond the exhast pipe exits.
