Construction of the F811B bars to be installed on the F811 bulkhead. The plans call for a .25" X 1" bar 14.75 long to be made from .25" X 1.5" X 36". Which means ripping the 1.5" to 1" and cutting them to 14.75. No problem but then I found a note on the plan sheet refering to DWG 27A which states the RV8A needs to have the bars tapered from 9/16" to 1" for a 10" length. I had to sand down the 1" on each side 7/32" to make the tip 9/16" this took about 1 hour. I used a file to clean up the sides and they look good. What a pain. The kit should just have these provided.
