Completed the left landing light manufacture and installation. used a 8-32 tap and cleaned out the threads on all the nut plates. The screws go in much smoother. Still need to install some way to secure the lens to the wing tip. I'm thinking 6-32 flat head screws in the corners and possibly two up front. At 200 MPH I wouldn't want these to come off. I used 2-56 machine screws to clamp the light bulb into the socked. This worked really well. So far I'm happy with this work.
