Brief Description:  Brain Storming -- Ideas

Butcher paper is good to scratching out a few ideas space requirements.

Aero Electric (Bob Nuckolls) sells a manual -- highly recommended. There are various recommendations of wiring harnesses. Pick on that fits 95% of your requirements, think long and hard about "blazing your own trail". I've wired and rewired a few dozen vehicles with custom EFI harness, or Off Road lighting. Two years later you'll recognize your own work, and not remember subtle details unless you started with schematics.

Bob'x "Z-19" wiring harness fits the bill. EFI Engine, Electric fuel pumps, and dual batteries. Yes, most installations are safe with one battery.... but single alternator, single battery, could leave you with a dead ignition system if you don't realize the alternator failed. With dual battery, by the time you realize "uh oh" you can switch and have a 45 minute reserve (i..e one hour battery supply, 45 minutes day, 30 minutes night).

Needed three fuse blocks with 8 fuses. Also three fusible links. ECU, Ignition, Fuel Pumps will all be hardwired with fuseble links. Dual system, so actually need six.

Sketch is inside panel between instrument panel and firewall.

Only reason I'm sketching requirements now is to fit a few things priot to the cowling being built. Much easier access.

Picture Two... simple way to hold Adel Clamps. Slotted a 3/16" slot in the nose a cleco clamp. Works like a charm (hard to see in the photo).
