Electrical System - Lycomming 4 cylinder.
Z13 Aeroelectrical wiring
Hinged Panels for fuse blocks. Normally they will tuck up under the panel area. Dzus fasteners to hold in place, and drop down (hinged on side) to allow access to fuses and relay as required.
Fuse Blocks:
Battery Bus - 6 fuses
P mag E mag Dome Light
Endurance Bus - 10 Fuses Transfer Pump Left Transfer Pump Right GTX327 (transponder) Garmin G3X Com1 Com2 (spare fuse) EMS - D120 Panel lighting Intercomm Auto Pilot (spare)
Main Power Bus - 10 Fuses
Landing Lights Nav Lights Taxi Lights Strobe Lights Voltage Regulator Map Lights Starter Push Button (hmm, fuseable link makes more sense here!)
Switches - Almost everything has their own power switch (avionics & intercom).
Old avionics couldn't tolerate Load Dumps (turn off the alternator, and you get a -300V spike) so Avionics was always last on, first off on power sequence. Trying to limit the amount of switches (do you really need a switch for each item in the avinics stack?)
