Didn't like the way the pane flange turned out for the first time. Just had cut and slitted a piece of aluminum, but end result was floppy.
Photo 1 is testing fitting the shrinked (and stretched.... oops!) flange.
Photo 2 shows panel installed (cleco)
Photo 3 -- Note 7.5" of clearance back there. Flange is 3/4", so a common 7.75" panel can be fitted. Large tabs center are for Throttle & Mixture. In my case, no mixture, so throttle.
