Brief Description:  Panel Layout

Panel Layout dictacted by tabs/tubing behind the panel. Had thought of mounting a blank plate to house AirSpeed & Altimeter, but even adding a G3X in the future means I'd still keep them.

Two large guages - Air Speed & Altimeter
G3X - future option.
Radion Stack - GTS327, Val Com, Val Com (future), PS1000-II Intercom (for now)
EMS - Dynon D120

Only thing of note - the support tube at the bottom of the panel, and flang at the top dictate placement. Best to flush rivet the panel to top the top support, then use screws fromm the top for the boot cowl to support the panel. Allows machining of the openings into that flange area behinnd the panel.

Plenty of room behind for stack, G3X.

G3X will have cut out fitted with a false panel. False panel could easily hold a Gizmo Dock for the 396 for a few years.

Image 2:

Different layout. Ignition Switch with R/L mag grounding on lower left. Room for 10 switch places, but might only have five and two circuit breakers located there. Another row of switches on the right side (easy reach for me).

Intercom on far right (note throttle/mixture will be under the stack, limiting stack height).

Gizmodock option (slightly larger than G3X size). Might end up being an iPad location.

Fuse panels will be hinged, and up and under the panel. Two dzus fasteners to unlatch so they can swing down for access (fuse blocks are on the top of the panel)
