Notice there is a 1/2" overlap at the door. This is correct and an air seal as when the door closes is will overlap a little.
On the Firewall -- Panel is flush with the firewall flange.
Nothing drilled yet, as the 1/4" proud would say the firewall is back on the left side slightly. I can not see how, but frame is dead on (checked previously with plumb bob).
Usually only have time to work on the weekends, so I'll think this over for the week.
Note the slots on both hinges... larger (wider than I wished).
