Completed final riveting of the horizontal stabilizer. Again, the pneumatic rivet squeezer makes short and consistent work of all the perimeter rivets.
I really have to hand it to Van's Aircraft -- the kit components are all top quality, the pre-punch process makes assembly almost fool-proof, and the instructions are very clear and thorough.
Need to have someone come out and inspect my work to make sure I'm building up to standard, but I have to say the learning curve was pretty quick. There is no way to get the experience other than diving right in -- stop reading, and start riveting!
On to the vertical stabilizer - after a small celebration!
