Went to Skycraft today and bought 25 fet of RG-58U coax cable for .25 a foot.
Stripped the end and determined that a small pin for the audio panel will fit over the center wire. Twisted some of the sheilding and determined that it will fit in an audio panel pin. Trimmed off the rest of the sheilding that I had made bare.
Ran the wire from the back of the audio panel through the service loop to the port side of the aircraft then down along the wiring path on the port side, back through the spar and out the wing wiring grommet.
I need to crimp on the pins and attach the cable to the audio panel. I removed the pin for the center wire from the J2 connector of the audio plug, after removing the audo panel from the stack and removing the back shell on the J2 connector.
Its July. I am dripping sweat and it is actually past midnight on July 21 as I write this.
