Brief Description:  radios-air switch- dehydrator plugs

Replaced the blue crystals in the dehydrator plugs.

Tested the ICOM A200 radio.
If the radio is out of the tray, master and avionics switches on, fuse is ok
if the radio is in the tray and turned off, master and avionics switches on, fuse is ok
if the radio is in the tray, master and avionics switches on, the fuse will blow when the radio is turned on

Connected one wire from the air swtich to psiton 1, which is ground, on the air switch realy board. Connected the other wire from the air swtich to position 3 on the relay board per instructions.

Tested the telephone function of the audio panel by connecting my phone to the front jack of the audio panel and calling Dick Isherwood. I could hear him barely. He said he coud hear me. It may be because when I speak or hit the mic on something, it soft mutes what I hear.

Removed the ICOM radio. Inspected the connector from the inside. Visually checked the outside wiring, observed no faults. Reinstalled the radio. The fuse did not blow and it works. Go figure.

Checked the radio stack for operability. Detected a buzz or hum in the heatset when the intercom is set to either crew or all, not so bad when set to iso. That might be a result of failure to ground the shields on the mic and headphone cables.

When I tested the transmit function on the SL30 by pressing the PTT button on the stick, I got a "Com Failure" message!! Last time I saw one of those it cost me $400.
