Brief Description: marker beacon ant - mic and headphone jacks - musi
Installed the new marker beacon antenna into the rear of the audio panel in pins 1 and 2 of J1 connector.
Ran the antenna cable through the service loop, down and aft through the spar, then out the left side of the fuselage ready to be run in the wing.
Tested the music jack by using my android phone which plays music. At first, I could barely hear the music.
I secured the passenger headphone jacks which were hanging loose.
I can hear the music loundly now, not sure what was wrong when it was barely audible.
I can hear the Com1 radio on 118.7, ORL tower, but not on ground. That has been the situation for some time.
Com 2 does not work. The fuse blows as soon as I try to turn the radio on. I hate that radio.
Tropical Storm Issac, about to become a hurricane, is thrashing Key West now and will be heading up the gulf west of Tampa. I secured the beach house and sailboat and returned to Orlando to work on the RV.
