Received information today by email from GRT that the audio out on the Sport is pin 20 and the audio lo is pin23. I installed wires in each of those positions and began to route them through the service loop.
Spoke with Dynon today and learned that the ground for the D6 can run to airframe ground since the ground point is the same for the audio panel and the dynon. That is the recommendation altough it could also be run to the audio lo posiiton on the audio panel I think.
Soldered three wires onto the 3 positions on the variable resistor for the D6. Used heat shrink on the tabs over the solder.
