Brief Description: ICOM radio wiring + dissident plugs
Continued working on the ICOM wiring. Made a power lead and connected it to the two power connections into the connector.
Posted on VAF about why you would run 4 separate awg 18 wires for ground and another two for power. The radio only draws 2.6 amps while transmitting. I just wanted to make sure that I am not missing anything. The opinion seems to be that an awg 18 wire is overkill for this radio anyway. So I will go with one awg 18 for power and another for ground, spliced into the 4 ground and 2 power connections at the connector.
Changed the granuales in the dissident plugs for new blue ones. I lost a rubber washer on the forward starboard lower one.
