Worked on the back up battery location. Realized that I do not have the correct size pop rivets to attach the battery and will have to get some.
Ran the wire from the co pilot ptt from the co pilot mic jack through the grommet, which I repositioned, into the bay next to the back up battery wires.
Dick Isherwood came by. We soldered the PTT wires from the pilots mic jack, labeled them, and ran the forward where they were connected to the PTT white wire and PTT lo white with black strip wire from the infinity stick grip. Tested them for continuity with positive results.
Labeled, trimmed and attached the blue wire from the ampmeter sensor to the 4.8 v excitation block.
Checked the wiring into the J2 connector on the PS engineering audio panel and discovered that I had miswired the 3 wires from the co pilot mic. I removed the goo from those wires and removed the wires from the connector. I will reinstall them in the correct pin holes.
Installed wires to pins 5, 6 and 7 on the J1 connector. Two of the wires go to the dimmer module, the other, a longer wire, goes to ground.
Attempted to install the antenna connector to the transponder but the snap ring clip would not hold it in.
I need to acquire a smaller snap ring clip as well as appropriate sized pop rivets from sky craft.
