Brief Description:  antenna placement planning, clock

I removed an adel clamp to allow the dimmer module to be moved for repositioning so as not to conflict with the radio stack.

Dick Isherwood came by. I had removed the radios from the stack but the ICOM would not come out. The 3/32 allen wrench would not cause the radio to release from the tray. We removed the trays next to the ICOM tray and finally got the radio out. We removed the back of the radio to inspect the screw mechanism. I lubricated the screw mechanism with a couple of drops of mystery oil.

Inspected the airframe to determine whether it would be possible or practical to put a comm antenna forward of the spar so that it would be available in an emergency to connect to a hand held radio. I decided not to place the antenna there because of the double floor in that area.

Com1 and Com2 antennas can be located side by side aft of the spar and still be 24 inches apart. That is my current plan.

Found the TED tranpsonder antenna. Determined to install it under the baggage compartment.
