Stefan King who is an A&P stopped by to help with the avionics wiring. The work that I did last night was pretty much a train wreck. The molex blade type connectors used on the ICOM A200 are difficult for me to deal with. It took a while to understand that the flanges on one side of the molex terminal are springy allowing the card of the radio to slip between them and have them spring back onto the card to contact it.
Most of the terminals that I installed last night had the flanges pinched flat by the crimper. We removed and repaired several, but did not have enough molex connectors to finish the job. I will have to go to skycraft and see if I can get some more molex blade connectors.
It will take another few hours to finish the wiring correctly.
