Brief Description:  wired starter circuit

Determined that it would be best to move the warning light wiring from its current position to share the fuse with the hobbs. So I cut off the end connector and replaced it with a piggy back connector which I connected to the fuseblock on the slot where the hobbs was wired and connected the hobbs to the piggy back fitting on the warning lights.

Having freed up the fuseblock slot where the warning lights had been wired I installed the starter power wire, green and black, which runs to the green button on the infinity stick grip. I labeled the wire "starter".

The wire from the other side of the switch, a green awg 20 is too short to reach the starter contactor, so I extended it with a section of white awg 20 wire. Dick Isherwood helped me run that wire down to the starter contactor. We determined the proper post to connect the starter switch wire to on the starter connector and connected it with a ring terminal placed under the boot that exists on that post.

We disconnected the large wire that runs from the starter contactor through the firewall and to the starter to avoid accidentially turning the engine over.

We tested the installation and determined that it works properly. 12 volts can be read at the end of the starter cable.

Developed a document showing the devices and fuse sizes for the Primary Fuse Block and the main and avionics aux fuse blocks.
