Brief Description:  auto pilot wiring - boost pump wiring - dimmer wir

Dick Isherwood came to help and stayed about 2.5 hours assisting.

Each of the two ray allaen position indicating LED modules has a white wire that goes to the dimmer. Those two wires connect into another wire that goes through the wiring bundle along the Z frame to the starboard side of the aircraft where it disappears. It seems to go down somewhere. It does not go to the dimmer module. We could not find it. I will return to that issue later.

Attached the power wire for the AP servos to the AP switch. The red wire runs aft to the pitch servo. I installed a junction with screw attachments as a place to join the wires from both pitch and roll servos before they run forward. I cut the red servo power wire and put a ring terminal on it. It was difficult to try to connect it to the junction place because of the awkward location. I will probably substitute a tab system instead of using ring terminals.

Installed the blue pinned wire supplied by GRT into the Sport connector, serial out. There is another wire that is supposed to connect to the sport and auto pilot but I could not identify it from the documentation. I called GRT, nobody answered. I left a message for Sandy to call me back. I did not hear from her.

Also tried to call JD of Infinity Areospace regarding the stick wiring. The green button is supposed to operate a starter switch. The wires running from it are green and green/blk. Those wires do not ahve coninutity when tested with a multimeter. The green/blk wire does have continuity to ground, although the green wire does not. It seems that the green/blk wire that goes to ground when the switch is activated will be sufficient to operate the starter relay. I do not know what is up with the green wire. JD did not answer.

Another issue with the infinity stick is that the auto pilot function of the GRT autopilot requires a momentary switch. I intended to use the black button on the thumb side of the switch to the engage/disengage funciton of the auto pilot. I may have to rep
