I have still not finallized the layout of the panel with respect to switches and breakers. Actually the problem is that I have one too few holes in my instrument panel. I would like to have FPS, Battery backup, Flap and Auto pilot switches. I can do that with what I have, if I do not put a engage/disengage button on the panel, at least not one that is the same size as a toggle switch, which takes a 15/32 hole.
I installed two SPST switches, one for the battery backup and the other for the autopilot, although either can be used for other purposes. I am still thinking that through.
I used a dremel to open the hole for the fourth toggle switch on the panel as well as the small mounting holes for the EIS and the tiny holes on the top and bottom of the flap and trim indicators.
