Drilled holes and installed grommets in the spar web, 3 places, and the bulkheads on the port side. I discovered that I should have drilled the holes in the spar web before installing the gear mounts since it was impossible to get to two of the locations on the forward side of the spar web. I used a uni bit on the after part of the spar web then used a wood bit going thru the aft hole to drill out the forward hole from behind. I cannot get a grommet into one of the holes on the right side behind the gear mount. That was one of the holes I drilled with the wood bit from behind. I will have to clean that up and install the grommet. I went to Sears and bought a drill bit extention which I returned because it was 1/4 and I needed 3/8, then to Home Depot looking for a 3/8 extention which they did not have. I bought the wood bit there.
