Went to skycraft and purchased assorted fuses and a (on ) none (on) switch to use for the flap switch on the panel.
Removed the 2-50 switch from the panel and installed it as the Pmag switch. Removed the Pmag switch. That will allow the Pmag to be tested in accordance with Steve Samsons method using the 2-50 switch with a momentary position at the top of the keyway.
Made a diagram of the existing wiring on the FPS. I noted that the current wiring diagram on the webpage of aircraft extras inc. shows a newer model of the FPS. Mine has no inputs from postion 10 to position 14. and uses a separate relay for position sensors. The new version does not need the separate relay and uses positions11 and 12 as flap and trim position out connections.
Made contact via email with Rich from aircraft extras who confirmed that I need a relay for both flap and trim to use the stick switches.
