Stefan the EE, A&P and RV builder stopped by to help me check out the electrical system. We determined that the master switch does indeed send power to the battery contactor which operates as advertised.
Determined that I need wires from the battery contactor to the fuseblock, for both the main and avionics sides. I also need to make up the wires for the battery cable both positive and ground.
