I stopped at Skycraft on the way to the airport and bought a male and female 15 pin connector...they did not have smaller ones.....I would have prefered a 9 pin.
Stefan King assisted and showed my how to solder the wires into the solder cups on the rear of the connector. We installed the 5 wires from the front of the aircraft into a connector.
Testing the power to the two white wires in the connector was negative. No power was found at the connector when the trim switch on the stick was activated. We could hear a relay click however.
I could not determine the circuit protection for the trim motor circuit. It may be that is not armed with a fuse or circuit breaker.
