The epoxy and micorballoon mixutre that I used to fill the holes I drilled during the first, and not so good, fit had dried and hardened in the holes. I removed the electrical tape from the outside.
Dick Isherwood came by from his hangar and helped me fit the port side skirt properly and locate and drill the holes. It fits much better now. The metal tube that protudes through the skirt and through which the latch hadle tub goes needed to be opened up with a dremel in order to not interfere with the fit of the skirt.
