I realized that I should have marked the CHT and EGT wires for the EIS before I ran them forward. Not to worry, I used a continuity tester and a short length of wire with alligator clips on each end to identify the wires. I determined which pin on the D connector showed current when I connectedone tester probe to the forward end of the wire and touched the other testor probe to the pins. I marked all the wires as I identified them.
I installed a #12 adel clamp with another adel clamp attached to it to secure the EIS wiring. I went to skycraft today at lunch and bought some clamps although I could only find 2 #12 clamps.
I tried to figure out how to route the EIS and other engine wires.
I installed the lower cowl to check the position of the FAB in relation to the snout on the bottom cowl. It finally lines up just right. I can now use the pattern on the test mounting plate to fabricate a new plate with the bolt holes in the proper position.
